Tape "Friends," because you aren't going to want to miss this opportunity! Writer-Director Todd Portugal will be screening his feature film "Soul Mates" for the TV-Film Society on Thursday, October 17 starting at 7:00 p.m. in H-123. He plans on bringing the DP along as well. We will screen the film first and then open it up for Q & A. Todd's first feature "Flooding" has just been released on DVD.
THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT EVENT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!!!! Again, tape "Friends" because you aren't going to want to miss this QUADRUPLE THREAT!!! WRITER-DIRECTOR-ACTOR-PRODUCER STEVE OEDEKERK will be speaking to the TV-Film Society on Thursday, October 24 starting at 7:00 p.m. in Humanities 123. MR. OEDEKERK is the writer of "Ace Ventura II" and "Patch Adams," the writer-director of "Nothing to Lose," the executive producer of "Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius" and the writer-director-producer-star of "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist." He is also the man responsible for the cult "Thumb" series. Come meet Steve Oedekerk in person! The room seats only 120 people.

William Lucas Walker (1/2 hour comedy writer) - credits include "Roseanne," "Frasier," and "Will & Grace." He is also co-creator and co-executive producer of "The Chris Isaak Show." 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. Location TBA. This event is being held in conjunction with Prof. Shelley Jenkins' RTVF 451 (Sitcom Writing) class.
